Why service tasks do not start automatically

Why service tasks do not start automatically

If your service tasks do not run automatically, probably this means that CRMAddon Import Service is set to run manually or disabled. To check these settings, please follow Start>Run and type a command services.msc 



The following window will open:


The Startup Type for the service should be set to Automatic, otherwise the tasks will not run on an automated basis. If the Startup type is not set as automated, please right click on the CRMAddon Import Service  and select Properties from the appeared context menu:




On the following window you'll be able to change Startup Type and save changes by clicking OK button.




Please be advised that the service also runs as a Local System, so you'd need to change its properties if another value is set in 'Log On As' column.
