The General Data Protection Regulation and our support services

On May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union finally comes into force. It places personal data under special protection.

In connection with the provision and provision of support services, we may be aware of personal data. We would like to inform you about how we gain knowledge and how we handle personal data. One of our primary objectives is to use this data in accordance with data protection laws.

Cause of storage and use of personal data

Due to the existing business relationship, you (customer) commission CRMADDON Factory GmbH with the provision of support services such as:
• Analysis and correction of errors and malfunctions
• Conducting tests to adapt, modify and create programs
• Support with questions about the used software
• Support in the performance adjustment and optimization of use of products such as the CRM solution Act! and services

In doing so, we may be aware of personal information that you store and use, such as analyzing log files and reproducing errors. In the case of the case, this is necessary for the provision of the service and takes place pursuant to DSGVO Article 6 subparagraph 1 letter f. You and we have a legitimate interest in providing the service.

Purpose of storage and use of personal data

We store and use the personal information provided through the Support Suite solely for the purpose of providing contracted support services.

Place of data processing

The processing of data for the provision of the contractually agreed support service takes place exclusively in a member state of the European Union or in another Contracting State to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Your duties

In the scope of the provision of support services, the principal has two obligations, which we would like to explicitly mention again here:
• The client carries out data backups regularly and at reasonable intervals, in particular the database of the CRM system Act !. This minimizes the risk and extent of data loss.
• The client ensures that the CRMADDON Factory GmbH as a contractor gets as much as necessary, but as little as possible, knowledge of personal data.
